Music Thoughts: Recovery by Frank Turner

Frank Turner’s “Recovery” – off his newest album, “Tape Deck Heart” – starts out with a calm and simplistic guitar strum while Frank creates the setting of someone who has reached a distressingly problematic situation with a loved one in his life. It then launches into the fast-paced chorus of the song discussing how he now must attempt to recover from this and how difficult it will be. Thanks to the rather upbeat nature of the song (I quite liked the piano solo), there is hope for the song’s subject. Overall, a good song.

The song is currently available to download for free from the USA iTunes store. Expired.
Tape Deck Heart is available to download from the iTunes store and Amazon MP3.
